Matthew 25:35-36 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

I was hungry and you gave me food:
* collecting canned goods and other non-perishables for Eastern Area Christian Ministries  (EACM)
* working onsite at EACM
* making nutritious “snack bags” for the hungry in our neighborhood
* funding Sunday breakfast and/or lunch tickets for the diner for those in need
* helping with the summer feeding program or weeknight snack suppers for our after school program

I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink:
* helping serve a cool glass of water and a snack to children in our neighborhood through our after school program

I was a stranger and you welcomed me:
* providing fresh-baked goods once a month for the participants in Narcotics Anonymous meetings at the church
* working with incoming refugees onsite in McAllen, Texas

I was naked and you gave me clothing:
* collecting new and used clothing for EACM
* providing clothing and other items to send to refugees in Texas

I was sick and you took care of me:
* making preemie caps and baby blankets/quilts for Children’s Hospital, prayer blankets and shawls for those suffering from illness
* joining a care team to meet the needs of someone who is sick or homebound

I was in prison and you visited me:
* corresponding with our two members who are on Death Row in Donaldson Prison
* sending the basic necessities through inmate gift packages
